She is also the vice president of the China-Canada International Film Festival, the executive vice president and Secretary general of the Innovation Platform of China's Technology and Culture Communication Industry, and the visiting professor of the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts.
Ms.Ge has been engaged in virtual vision, virtual reality (VR) and multimedia research since 2000, contributing to virtual vision technology, creation and content industrial production. She also has served as the executive deputy general manager of Tianjin Zhongke Remote Sensing Information Technology Company, the director of the Beijing National Technology Transfer Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the deputy chief architect of the Digital City Engineering Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. At the other times, she is engaged in the application research of smart city spatial information technology in the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In recent years, she has focused on the application research of remote sensing artificial intelligence. She directed and developed a series of high-resolution satellite emergency on-site information extraction key technologies, such as building extraction, road extraction and water body extraction and other key element information extraction. She once proposed a spatiotemporal knowledge map construction model based on intelligent interpretation of remote sensing, which can realize the organic integration of remote sensing information and other multi-disaster emergency data information. At the same time, she has also carried out in-depth research on multiple spatiotemporal data retrieval and query, data mining, semantic reasoning, etc. Her research results have good application prospects in emergency decision support, and it is a bold attempt for the commercial application of artificial intelligence technology.
